Wet Clean is an approved non toxic alternative to Perchloroethylene (PERC) dry cleaning by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

In Northern California dry cleaners dedicated to solely using the Wet Clean system receives “Certified Green Business” status by the Bay Area Green Business Program.

There is a host of organizations that recognize the Wet Clean system as a green and sustainable alternative. Some of these include: Occidental College Pollution Prevention Center, California Air Resource Board (CARB), UCLA  Sustainable Technology & Policy Program, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Bay Area Green Business Program, San Francisco Environment, Sausalito Sustainability Commission, Zero Breast Cancer,Acterra and Cool California.
